Cherry Blossoms in Bloom

The Washington, D.C., cherry blossoms are in full peak!

A 1912 gift of national friendship from Japan, the 3,000 trees bloom snowy white to dusky pink from the Washington Monument to the Jefferson Memorial.

The full flowers are likely to last only about another week, so now's the time to go see them.
